1. First you need to log in to your blogger dashboard.

2. From the dashboard click “Layout” button under the blog where you want the adsense code placed.

3. You will be directed to the “Layout” page under the tab of “Page Elements”. Beside this tab are a few other tabs. Click the tab “Edit HTML”.

4. You will be directed to the Edit Template page. Above that line click “Download Full Template” first to back up your template in case something goes wrong.

5. Next, check the tick box beside “Expand Widget Templates”.

6. Search for the code “data:post.body” . If you are using Firefox, just type Ctrl+F and copy the code and paste it on the “Find” toolbar that appeared at the bottom when you pressed Ctrl+F. It will automatically bring you the code you are looking for.

7. Copy the code below:

8.  Paste the code you copied above the line in the “Edit HTML” page.  Below is what your codes should look like after you have pasted (the highlighted part).  DO NOT SAVE THE TEMPLATE YET.

9.  Next, copy the adsense code you want to insert in the post.  Do not paste it on the template yet because you need to convert it to embed it directly into your new xml Blogger template.  Go to the adsense code converter page and paste the adsense code on the field and click “CONVERT AD CODE”. Click the “HIGHLIGHT ALL” and then copy the converted ad code.

10.  Paste the converted adsense code into the template.  You should paste the converted adsense code in the line where “Insert Adsense code here, make sure to use ad code converter” is and replace that text with the converted adsense code.

Below is what your template should look like after pasting the converted adsense code.  In my example, I used a 336×280 square ad.  You can use any size of ad you like.

After pasting you can now click “Save Template”.

Once you have saved, you can try checking your blog.  For this particular code the ads will only appear in the post and not in the home page.  I hope my explanation on how to insert the adsense code within the post for blogspot or blogger blogs is clear and understandable.  Feel free to give suggestions or additional information.

1. Spousal and Child Support

Alimony is the only type of income paid by one ex-spouse to another that can be deducted.

2. Unreimbursed Work Expenses

W-2 employees can only deduct unreimbursed expenses in excess of 2% of their adjusted gross incomes – and only those who are able to itemize their deductions.

3. Above-the-Line Deduction for Roth IRA Contributions

Traditional IRA and retirement plan distributions are taxable as ordinary income so there can be a deduction there.

4. 529 Plan Contributions

There is no federal deduction available for 529 plan contributions.

5. Political Contributions

Cash or property donations to any qualified 501(c)(3) organization are deductible, but that does not include political parties.

6. Homeowners’ Insurance

The only time that this can be deducted is for those who either use a portion of their home for business or for those who own properties that they rent out.

7. Life Insurance Premiums

Life insurance premiums are non-deductible for individuals except for coverage available inside Section 125 Cafeteria Plans and a small amount that can be purchased inside a qualified plan. Meanwhile, group life insurance premiums can be deducted by employers within certain limits.

8. Dependents Whom You Cannot Claim

Many separated and divorced couples race to claim some or all of their dependents each year whether they can or not. The IRS has a fairly clear, albeit complex set of rules that determine who gets to claim which kids. In some cases, one parent will get to claim the dependency exemption, while the other is eligible for the Child Tax Credit or Dependent Care Credit.

However, both parents often try to claim the same dependent in the same year, thus causing the return of the one who files second to be rejected. Those in this category who are legitimately entitled to claim a dependent or dependents must take up their case with the IRS and furnish proof, such as a divorce decree, that establishes their eligibility.

9. Substantial Contributions of Tangible Property to Charities

Cash contributions of up to 50% of adjusted gross income (AGI) are deductible, but property donations have a limit of 20% or 30% of AGI.

Make sure that your property does not exceed these income limits in the year that you give it to your charity. (Being generous has never been more (financially) rewarding!

10. Passive Losses

Passive losses cannot be deducted against active income, such as earnings or investment income.

11. Capital Losses

Although capital losses can be used to offset any amount of capital gains, they can only be deducted against $3,000 of other income each year.

If you try to write the entire balance off at once, the IRS will gently inform you that you will have to prorate the loss for the next 17 years. Unless, of course, you reap a large gain in the future, in which case you can write off as much of the remaining loss as there is against whatever amount of gain you have earned.

In this luge video death, 21-year-old Nodar Kumaritashvili passed away after crashing during a training run and hitting a metal pole. Rescue officials rushed right away to the scene and tried to save the luge athlete. He was then was lifted into an ambulance. May his soul rest in peace.

Our first dollar savings from our online income

We are saving up to buy a new car that we have been praying for since last year. The blessing is when this year began, the money we have been making online have become more steady, and more opportunities have come.

So, what are our sources of income? Well, writing paid posts has always been there. But, I have been trying to transition from making money online through paid to blog services to passive income sources such as PPC ads and affiliate marketing. Lately, income has become more steady and we are still thinking of ways and ideas to increase the income from the latter sources.

While writing this entry, my wife just checked if her 53rd and my 38th withdrawal from each of our Paypal accounts have cleared and they have. This online money making experience is truly exciting and a real blessing to us. I just encourage those who are just starting to discover how to make money online to never give up because the internet market is still growing and it would be wise to stay in the boat.

Why the natural way? Yes, I said that because there are unnatural ways. Some of the unnatural ways are automated traffic exchange which is a no-no for Adsense, optimizing the page and the content is one which may result in getting the page on top of search engine results pages (SERPs) but if Google sees that the content is not really what the page is associated with when using particular search keywords and this may result in getting the page penalized by Google.

I still believe in the saying that “Content is King”! I have a little knowledge about SEO but have given up trying it out on pages because when I did this in my other blog (aspacio.net), Google did something with it which pulled it down to lower SERPs. But thankfully I have some pages or blog entries that were really written well (during the times when I did not SEO yet), so now, these are the only pages that appear high on Google’s SERPs. The content placed it their, and I did not have to SEO it.

The best way to get natural, search engine traffic is to provide content in your blog’s niche that will give readers what they need, and they are not necessarily what search engine robots look for. The content will bring readers back to your blog and will naturally propel your site to the top of SERPs. This will naturally increase you Adsense income because of more traffic driven to your site.

Why drop 300 Entrecards, anyway? Personally, it helps increase traffic. And that is guaranteed if you drop ECs using this method. The traffic is not organic (from search engines) but it helps increase statistics. It also guarantees an increase your Alexa ranking. I had one blog that went from the millions to within 200,000 in Alexa ranking.

So what do you need to drop 300 ECs using this method? Let me first give an overview of the things I use. When dropping ECs, I get a list of 300 blogs. Others use drop lists, I don’t. I use the Popular list from Entrecard’s campaign tab. Another important factor is the browser. I use Mozilla Firefox because of the add-ons and browsing options.

How to Drop Entrecards Fast:

1. First, you need a Mozilla Firefox browser. If you already have this, you need to search for an add-on called “Linky”. If you don’t have this yet, just google “linky” and the first result is what you need to install. After installing the add-on, you will need to restart your browser. Once the linky add-on is installed, you are ready to go.

2. Log-in to your Entrecard account. If you have multiple accounts, log-in first to the account with the blog you want to drop 300 Entrecards for. You can actually drop for your other blogs in your EC account after the first blog. You just have to switch to the other linked account after dropping 300 Entrecards.

3. After logging in to your Entrecard account you will be directed to your dashboard where you can see your quickstats in the last 30 days. The important stat you need here is the one which says “cards you dropped today/all” and before that is a fraction which may look like 0/2489 or something like that. In that example, 0 stands for the number of ECs you dropped today and 2489 would be the number of ECs you dropped total (in the last 30 days). You will be needing this statistic as you approach 300 ECs.

In your Entrecard dashboard, click the “Campaign” tab. You will be directed to the campaign page under the default sub-tab “By Category”. Click the “Popular” sub-tab because that’s the Entrecard drop list that ensures at least 50% drop back. I’m sure other Entrecarders drop on the “By Category” lists, too, so they can interact with other blogs in their category, but, in my experience, only the “Popular” list guarantees a higher drop back, meaning, when you visit 300 blogs and drop your EC, most of the blogs visit back and drop their ECs in your blog, too.

4. In your Firefox tabs, click “Tools” then “Options”. Click the “Content” tab in the “Options” window that popped up. Uncheck the “Load images automatically” and “Enable Java” (see screenshot below).

Click the “Exceptions” button beside “Load images automatically”. Here you need to allow two sites to load images, namely, amazonaws.com and entrecard.com. Once you have typed in each of them and clicked “Allow” (see screenshot below).

5. After following the steps above, you should be directed to the page below (see screenshot).

You can customize how you drop by clicking on the dropdown beside “Rows per page”. The default is 3 but you can choose how many blogs the page will show. I use 9, which shows the first 45 blogs in Entrecard’s “Popular” list. I know of someone who uses 18, which shows 90 blogs. Linky can only open up to 99 tabs per loading, so that selection gives you the maximum number of tabs that can be opened. But, like I said, I select 9 only. You will have to choose what’s best for you, your internet connection and your computer speed. But the principle is, the more tabs, the less number of page loading. But internet speed can be affected and sometimes blog pages do not load properly. If you choose to change the default number of 3 beside “Rows per page”, click the “Search” button to refresh the blog list.

6. After the blogs have loaded in the list, select all the blogs starting from the top to the bottom by clicking right before the “Previous” link and dragging down to the last blog on the list. You will see 3 links (blog id number, Site and Profile) on each blog when you hover your mouse. You should select until the “Profile link” that shows up when you hover on the last blog on the list.” (see screenshot below).

7. After selecting, right click and hover your mouse on “Linky” then “Open Selected Links in tabs” and click on it. (see screen shot below)

A “Select Links” window will open (see screenshot below).

8. Uncheck the “Select all of the links” (see screenshot below).

9. Check all the links which has http://entrecard.com/t/oc/blog_id_number (see screenshot below).

One you have done this once you can just uncheck and then check again the “Select already visited links” and the window will automatically check all the windows that you’ve opened before (assuming that your browser settings is set to remember previously visited sites). Sometimes, a new blog will make it to the “Popular list”, one that you haven’t opened before, and all you have to do is check the tick box beside that link. You can check if there’s an unchecked link by scrolling down slowly.

10. Once you’ve made sure that all the links are checked and that unnecessary images and Java are disabled, you can click the “Open selected links” button and the blogs will all load automatically in new tabs.

Once the blogs have loaded, you can start dropping your EC on each and close them right away or drop a message or comment before you do. To load another set of blogs, just click “Next” on the “Popular” page. Do not refresh this page or else you will be reverted back to the top of the list of Entrecard popular blogs list.

As previously mentioned, how fast you drop will depend on the number of blogs you choose to load at a time. That will depend on your computer speed and your internet connection speed. But this method will definitely speed up the way you drop Entrecards. It is so fast that you can definitely drop 300 Entrecards in no time.
